PAINTING
I have always been artistic and creative, usually all personal projects. Working with clients to turn their dreams and ideas into a tangible reality is an entirely different level. Sometimes it's just the client and their desire to change the undertones on a priceless heirloom chair and add back the gold gild. Then there are the larger statement projects that become a statement piece for the house. The highlight of any large painting project is when the client visits the site and sees what they have been envisioning and describing actually in their home.

geometric entryway
This stunning geometric black and white entryway floor was hand painted on top of the original hardwood flooring. The repeating pattern had enough variety to not look like a basic checker board. The black was a few shades lighter than true black. The black and white of the floor compliments the deep teal front and pack extra large front door and the deep teal coat room as well as all the other outstanding accents of this refurbished San Francisco home.
blossom apartment
This unique apartment acquired an etherial quality with the hand painted silver and cherry blossom hallway and meandering dogwood branches in the primary bedroom. The soft purple of the walls in the primary bedroom brought depth to the deeper purple in the dogwood blossoms. The hallways were hand painted and striated in a soft silver. The multiple cherry blossom branches throughout the hallways accentuated the impressive ceiling height of this newly remodeled classic San Francisco apartment.
fireplace transformations
Sometimes a fireplace is the perfect shape and design but the look no longer fits the space. Antiquing and aging an original San Francisco home wooden fireplace to match the clients vision and fit with the redesigned kitchen and dining room. Adding 'imperfections' and 'years of coal box fire' soot marks. Cleaning and restoring the face plate of the coal box fireplace. And then up to wine country to brighten an original stone fireplace in a newly renovated farm house. The client loved the original stone but with doubling the number of windows in the living room, wanted a brighter looking fireplace.
